Fraction Calculator

Find the Least Common Denominator (LCD) of both fractions. Convert both fractions to equivalent fractions with the common denominator, then add or subtract their numerators while keeping the common denominator.

Multiply the top numbers (numerators) together, and multiply the bottom numbers (denominators) together: (a/b) × (c/d) = (a×c) / (b×d), then reduce the fraction to lowest terms.

Invert the second fraction (find its reciprocal) and multiply: (a/b) ÷ (c/d) = (a/b) × (d/c) = (a×d) / (b×c).
